About us
D.Ashmore & Daughter Limited was created in January 2015 when I put an advert out for a skilled ground worker and ran an interview process to find a suitable employee and off we went leaving my family to work away in Swindon for 7 months on various highways England schemes.
We built from there and by the summer of 2016 we was working for 3 clients at once with 9 staff onboard, by 2019 we had built up a good reputation with all the main contractors that take on highways England schemes.
Supplying labour to over 10 companies now we was still growing and in march 2020 we hit 25 staff and 10 chapter 8 spec vehicles working on 6 projects at once and turning over one million pounds.
Labour only 3 years running managed solely by my wife and I. We have now taken on a full time Qs and have tendered for a few large projects of late our goal is to simply keep improving year after year and one day be undertaking multi-million-pound schemes as the main contractor.
